Comedian and architecture enthusiast Tim Ross, and architect Kerstin Thompson, designer of the award-wining Art Museum and The Bridge for Creative Learning lead a weekend about design and the Australian traditions of architecture.
Your weekend begins with a guided tour of the Art Museum and The Bridge in which Kerstin discusses how the existing landscape as well as future climatic conditions shaped and inspired her design of the new buildings. Afterwards, enjoy a three-course dinner catered by Executive Chef, Douglas Innes-Will, and an informal in-conversation between Kerstin and Tim.
In the morning, there’s the opportunity to join a yoga class overlooking the Shoalhaven River before a continental breakfast. One of Bundanon’s knowledgeable guides will give a tour of the twentieth century workers cottages and the award-wining Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre before your weekend finishes with a live show performed by Tim Ross. Factual and funny, in this one man show, Tim takes us on a hilarious, personal and poignant journey through our unique relationship with the Australian home.
