Sydney based visual artist Tannya Harricks is known mostly for her expressive paintings of Australian and New Zealand landscapes. Intent on capturing the energy of the subject through spontaneous gesture, she paints intuitively and without premeditation. The subject of her work is reimagined in the manipulation of colour and form with fluid brushwork.

Harricks was an artist in residence at Bundanon in 2019.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
