Tamara Dean is an Australian photographic and installation artist whose practice explores the relationship between humans and the natural world. Dean was a selected artist for the 2018 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art.

Dean was the winner of the Meroogal Women’s Art Prize for 2018.

Dean’s 2019 residency project at Bundanon involved creating site responsive works, drawing inspiration from the natural landscape of Bundanon.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
