Shady Cosgrove is American-born writer who lives in the Illawarra and teaches prose fiction and editing at the University of Wollongong, Australia.

IN RESIDENCE 2019

During her time at Bundanon, Cosgrove revised the novel ‘Freefall’, a 90,000-word work concerned with themes of environmental sustainability, economic impact and community.

Cosgrove was also in residence at Bundanon in 2018.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
