Polymorphic Orkestra are an electro acoustic art music ensemble that produces improvised music using a mix of traditional instruments, media techonology, audio FX and pre-recorded audio stem data.

They spent the residency developing ideas, content and sonic inspiration for their 3rd album ‘Shadowland’. They were joined by Indigenous vocal artist and composer Sonya Holowell and sound engineer Ross A’Hern. An improvised ensemble, they documented their time with both audio and video recordings, forming the backbone and inspiration for ‘Shadowland’.
