Bedside Table 51 by Lucille Martin
Lucille is currently developing visual themes and writing using iPhoneography (iPhone capture of still and moving image) to investigate self-representation and portraiture alongside her love of the natural world informed through Biophilia.
She has exhibited in solo, group and curatorial exhibitions in Australia and overseas working with many of Australia’s leading art curators. She has held awards and participated in residencies in Tokyo, New York, Bali and Australia.
Lucille will explore physical landscape, portrait and self-representation within the Australian landscape and waterways of Bundanon. She is passionate about themes relating to stewardship and governance in nature, bio-diversity, seasonal environments and where the increased dependence of the human species on technology has led to a disappearance in the human drive to connect with nature.
