Lee Darroch is a proud Yorta Yorta, Mutti, Boon Wurrong woman. She is a renowned visual artist and leader of the cultural revival of traditional cultural practices across South-eastern Australia in particular possum skin cloak making, sculpture, public art, feather work and coiled basketry.

While in residence in 2014, Darroch proposed to work on a series based on dusk light, using different light sources, in the Bundanon landscape.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
