James Brown is a composer and visual artist, working in sound design, photography, illustration and animation. He has worked collaboratively with theatre companies both locally and internationally for the past seven or so years to produce live soundtracks and visuals for different live shows and performances.

During their residency together at Bundanon in 2017, Nalina Wait, Paea Leach and James Brown developed their collaborative work ‘Submerge’.

Brown was also in residence in 2014.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
