Heidrun Lohr worked as a freelance photographer for theatre, film and press in Munich and Berlin and since 1985 she has worked as a freelance photographer, making photographic documentations for theatre and dance companies, and in collaboration with independent artists, dancers and performers. As a dance photographer she is fascinated with bodies moving through time and space, and translating their movement into the two-dimensionality of photography.

Lohr was in residence at Bundanon in 2014, 2012, 2010 and 2007.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
