Art Forms: Installation, Performance, Video/film, Visual Art

Residency Year: 2016

Lives / Works: Australia

Eugenia Lim is an Australian artist of Chinese–Singaporean descent who works across video, performance and installation to explore how national identities cut, divide and bond our globalised world.

During her residency at Bundanon, Lim immersed herself in the research and development of a new performance work which was a response to Robin Boyd’s influential text ‘The Australian Ugliness’. The result was a three-channel video installation presented at Melbourne School of Design (2018), Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (2019) and Samstag Museum of Art, Adelaide (2019).
