Digby Webster is a Sydney-based visual artist who works across a range of disciplines. He is a founding member of the Ruckus Ensemble, a contemporary performance group who create large scale productions and has also been a production designer and performer on award-winning short films The Interviewer’ and ‘Heartbreak and Beauty’ with Bus Stop Films.

Webster spent time immersed in the landscape during the day and painting at night to complete works for his exhibition ‘The Bearded Tit’ presented in Redfern in 2019.

The residency at Bundanon provided Webster with time away from his structured routines to immerse himself in creativity while securing his sensibility as a member of a community of artists.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
