Danielle graduated from the two-year associate program at The JamFactory in the Jewellery and Metal studio and creates both product and exhibition work with hopes of focussing on commission work in the near future. Her work often evokes a cartoon-like sensibility which she couples with complex technical features; these contrasts act as a major source of inspiration in her work. Using traditional silversmithing techniques coupled with industrial processes, such as powdercoating, Danielle aims to produce work that is well-made and intricately designed whilst still maintaining a sense of humour and playfulness within each piece.
During her two weeks at Bundanon, Danielle aims to research, develop and prototype anew collection of bespoke bridal and engagement rings, earrings and hair pieces. She looks forward to spending a focused period of time on the technical resolution, design possibilities and material choices needed to create a new signature collection.
