Cissi Tsang

Cissi Tsang

Cissi Tsang is a transdisciplinary artist based in Perth, Western Australia.

Cissi's work explores methods of combining field footage, field recordings and performance to create audio-visual works. She focuses on found artifacts in the landscape, her response to the landscape as a composer and performer, and using the landscape as a narrative device.

Cissi has performed her works within Australia and internationally under the names samarobryn and timeofhex. She has undertaken artist residencies at Arteles Creative Centre (Finland) 2016, Time Place Space 2016 and Nogong Centre For Sound Culture 2015. Also, a photographer, Tsang's photography has been short-listed in various national and international awards.

Cissi is currently a PhD candidate at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Edith Cowan University and holds a Master of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design from the University of New South Wales.

Cissi intends to use her time at Bundanon to develop work in response to the surrounding landscape.
