This residency supports the refinement of my choreographic practice through the development of three works – my solo “Not the Piece”, a duet “And, again”, and a new collaborative quartet.
I’ll spend time reinvestigating/re-embodying “Not the Piece” as I consider its expansion for future adaptations. A final stage development of “And, again” with dancer Mitchell Christie prepares the work for presentation as part of a new double bill “End/Again” with my other award-winning duet “The ___”. Mitchell Christie and I will spend a week with revered dance artists Martin Del Amo, and Sue Healey collaborating on a new intergenerational quartet work.
