Read MoreFiona Harman and Steve Paraskos develop collective and solo projects.

Steve is a composer of large-scale spatial sound artworks and performances. He studied a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Studies) at Murdoch University, and a Bachelor of Music (Composition & Music Technology) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Steve was a featured composer on ABC Classic FM.
Working collaboratively, Fiona Harman and Steve Paraskos experiment with sound, painting, lumina and projection to imaginatively consider the poetic possibilities of the landscape. Drawing on quantum theory and contemporary metaphysics, and Spinoza’s notion of sub specie aeternitatis, Steve and Fiona’s work posit that worlds are best understood as telling us about the space of possibilities rather than telling us about actuality. This residency is particularly interested in the landscape at Bundanon and the Shoalhaven River; the early morning fog, dawn chorus biophony, the timeless water wrapping around limbs.
