Bundanon

Anna Madeleine is an artist working in mixed media, installation and experimental animation. Through explorations of time and mapping, her practice explores the scientific data, networks and information systems that underpin contemporary culture.

During her residency, Madeleine carried out preliminary stages of research and image making for the development of an augmented reality mobile phone application that will super-impose artistic imagery and hand-drawn animation over views of the natural landscape, to cnceptualise the future effects of climate change. The project, titled ‘Augmented Nature’ was completed in 2019.
