Anca Frankenhaeuser

Art Forms: Choreography, Dance, Performance

Anca Frankenhaeuser, born in Finland, performed, taught and choreographed with London Contemporary Dance Theatre for fifteen years touring throughout UK as well as internationally. In Australia since 1990 she has worked as a deviser/director/choreographer/performer, as well as lecturer/tutor of movement for actors, contemporary dance & choreography.

At Bundanon, Frankenhaeuser was in residence with Sue Healey (choreographer, film-maker and installation artist) and Raghav Handa (choreographer and performer), Renata Commisso (dancer), Richard Paul Harvey (molecular biologist) and Patrick Harding-Irmer (dancer), working on a collaborative installation investigating light, film and choreography, exploring the movement of two and three dimensional bodies.
