Bundanon

The Landcare Living Landscapes project, commenced in 2011 through a partnership between Bundanon and Landcare Australia. This collaboration included a vision to sequester carbon on the property through substantial revegetation of grazing paddocks at Eearie Park and Bundanon.  The project saw the establishment of over 44,000 native trees across aver 60 hectares.

Extensive maintenance works through the early years of the project has seen significant tree growth with canopy closure achieved across much of the revegetation sites.

In 2020 the Australian Government’s Clean Energy Regulator audited Bundanon’s carbon farm and established that over 12,000 Australian Carbon Credit Units have been stored.
