Bundanon

Biljana Jancic was born in Osijek, Croatia and currently lives and works in Sydney, Australia. Her work consists primarily of large-scale spatial interventions. Over the past ten years she has exhibited widely in a range of spaces in Sydney and further afield.

During her residency at Bundanon, Jancic explored the idea of the ‘architectural section cut as a process’. Jancic explored this notion through investigating the potentials of the section cut as a conceptual process through experimenting with projection and drawing to consider ways of representing relationships between adjacent spaces.
