Bundanon

Eve Klein is an operatic mezzo soprano and composer-producer. Klein’s composition and performance work draws together traditional and experimental classical music, interactive performance art, and glitch electronica. She has been a principal artist with Opera Australia and Pacific Opera. Eve’s music has featured at numerous Australian and International festivals including VIVID Sydney, Brisbane Festival, and International Festival of Artistic Innovation (England).

Klein was in residence at Bundanon in 2016 with Ravi Glasser-Vora. Their intent was to complete a first draft of the opera score, finalise the libretto and design the electronic sculptures for new collaboration ‘Triptych’. They also collected audio samples recorded around Bundanon to contribute to the work’s sound design.
