Christopher Kremmer is the author of many books, including The Carpet Wars, numerous short stories and a substantial body of journalism. His work during a decade spent as a foreign correspondnat in asia – first for the ABC and later for The Sydney Morning Herald – earned him a national profile as an intelligent and sensitive observer of the region.

While in residence at Bundanon in 2008, Kremmer conducted research for a new bookwhich saw a change of genre for the writer, moving from narrative non-fiction to fiction.

Kremmer was also in residence in 2007.
