Bundanon

Branch Nebula (Lee Wilson and Mirabelle Wouters) work across disciplines in performance, dance and design to challenge mainstream cultural conventions. They work with non-conventional performers to collaboratively devise work that defies categorisation. Works interrogate the audience experience and explore contemporary culture as a means of creating access and speaking to a broad audience.

Whilst in residence at Bundanon, Branch Nebula developed their performance for Youth Week. The team of professionals – skaters, BMX-riders, dancers and parkourists – used the art of free improvisation and will together with percussionist Robbie Avenaim create a performance responding to site, share rapport and individual skill.
