Bundanon

German-born artist Claudia Chaseling is known internationally for her challenging and expanding Spatial Paintings and complex semi-abstract paintings on canvas.

Chaseling was in residence at Bundanon in 2016 with Milocan Destil Markovic. As both artists work in painting with dry colour pigments, during the Bundanon residency, Claudia Chaseling and Milocan Destil Markovic investigated new techniques to enhance the depth and brilliance of these materials. Conceptually they discussed and developed new bodies of work for experimental spatial paintings.
