Tammy Brennan is a composer, soprano, actor/clown, librettist/researcher, artist producer of multidisciplinary music theatre. Brennan creates music theatre work that is about the lived experience of gender violence and sexual trauma. Aspects often reshaping her own experiences of gender violence, in both her childhood and adult life.

With support of the Playking Foundation and the Australia Council for the Arts, Tammy Brennan was in residence working on ‘The Daughters Opera Project’, the first chamber opera to be written between Australia and India. The project premiered at City Recital Hall, Sydney Australia in 2019, and The Black Box Okhla, New Delhi India in 2020.
