Georgie Meagher is an artist, curator, writer and organiser. Working across performance, live and visual art, she has presented collaborative performance works across Australia, in the UK and in Finland and written critical texts for Runway and Das Superpaper.

Meagher’s 2012 residency was centred on curatorial research and development of an exhibition at Tin Sheds Gallery, Sydney in 2012, We need you, you need us. The exhibition explored the notions of economic exchange, market value, alternate currencies and trade, asking: how do artists (re)situate themselves within an economic framework?
