Read MoreKatina Olsen is a proud Wakka Wakka and Kombumerri woman with Norwegian, German and English ancestry. Olsen is a choreographer who works in the fields of theatre, sculpture, film and installation. ‘namu nunar (mother, mountain, sky)’ are the stories told by the Wakka Wakka Elders of land, sky and the feminine connections, and these formed the basis for new work.
Olsen’s residency at Bundanon was part of an ongoing development of work originally supported by Critical Path and Mirramu First Nations Residency.
Olsen was also in residence at Bundanon in 2015.
