Bundanon

Laura Boynes is an independent artist working with dance and choreography in an expanded field. Her work explores social, political and environmental concepts for theatre, gallery and site specific spaces, she uses performance as a tool to inspire critical thought and reflection on the contemporary world.

Boynes used her time at Bundanon to work on her solo commission project, ‘Wonder Woman’, which was presented at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia in 2019. During the residency, collaborators Julie-Anne Long and Adelina Larsson created short works with Laura that were performed in 2018.
