Read MoreJemima Hartley is theatre maker, performer and writer based on Gadigal land, Sydney. Having trained at WAAPA and the University of Notre Dame, Jemima has worked across theatre and film in multiple roles; from performance to writing to stage management. Her work combines her training alongside a background in sociology to explore the concept of performance in all its forms, both on and off the stage.
Anne Buckingham is a multi-disciplinary artist working in the areas of installation, printmaking, textile and research.
Her current practice involves abstract mapping through the use of cyanotypes and experimental printing. She has a strong interest in arts based enquiry as reflective practice. Her work has been published in international journals and magazines and she has exhibited nationally and internationally.
Jemima and Anne’s residency will focus on the importance of multi-media conversations and feedback between artists, using their different mediums to encourage creative development. Their time at Bundanon will explore the impact of collaboration and creative exchange, and the evolution of a piece of work from solo to collaborative.
Engaging critically with each other’s skillsets and work, they will question whether creative work is ever individual or if it is ultimately always a collaborative process.
