Michelle Cahill, Holly Friedlander Liddicoat and KhroniK

Readings of new works by local poets, commissioned for the World Weather Network.

 

Michelle Cahill is an award-winning poet and author. Her collection of short prose, Letter to Pessoa won the NSW Premier’s Literary Award for New Writing. She was the Red Room Poetry Fellow in 2020 and has been shortlisted in the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award and the Helen Anne Bell Bequest. Daisy and Woolf her debut novel has been published by Hachette.

Holly Friedlander Liddicoat is a poet, editor, DJ and performer who has previously been published in Cordite, Overland, Rabbit, Southerly, The Lifted Brow and Voiceworks, among others. She’s edited poetry for Voiceworks and the UTS Writers’ Anthology and was shortlisted for the UTS Writers’ Anthology Prize. Rabbit Poetry published her first collection CRAVE, which was shortlisted for the 2019 Mary Gilmore Award. In 2022 she undertook a Bundanon residency as one half of spoken word/dance music outfit Jobfit.

KhroniK is a hip hop/rap artist, poet, activist and proud First Nations Waddi Waddi man of the Yuin Nation. Respectively earning radio and stage time throughout NSW and Australia, KhroniK is a fast-emerging artist with a gift to share.
