7 – 9 OCTOBER
Spend a relaxing weekend at Bundanon, connecting with nature and restoring your wellbeing.
About Tamar Kelly
Formally a ballet dancer and actor, Tamar Kelly has taught yoga and functional movement throughout Australia, Asia, New York (Columbia University) and Europe over the past 25 years. Her teaching is enriched and balanced by her passion for the Arts and her contribution to it, most recently as a writer and producer. This weekend of yoga is not just for those who can touch their toes. It is an exploration of one’s own strength, range and energy. The objective is to better understand one’s body so as to increase mobility, stability and freedom in motion. Modifications will be given for those more or less experienced.
About Mel Young
Mel is a contemporary jeweller, educator, PhD candidate and maker. Her workshop leads participants in a creative mindful/mindless mark-making experience, working with nature and observational drawing as a practice of daily creative notebook journaling. Participants will be guided through a set of drawing/mark-making and watercolour exercises to expand their ideas of what journaling can be. This is a creative workshop designed to kickstart a meditative practice, where mark making can be used as a tool for feeling grounded, calm and less anxious.
