Bundanon Siteworks

Siteworks is an ongoing series of interactive projects focusing on the unique Bundanon properties: 1100 hectares of pristine bush land overlooking the Shoalhaven River, which is Arthur and Yvonne Boyd’s gift to the Australian people.

Siteworks invites selected arts practitioners, scientists and scholars to meet and stay at Bundanon, responding to the site through the lens of their specific discipline and areas of interest. This has led to stimulating conversations and collaborative site-specific projects.

This year’s event celebrates our new partnership with Landcare Australia, Greening Australia, the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority and the Federal Government’s Biodiversity Fund to rehabilitate Bundanon’s landscape, increasing biodiversity, reconnecting native habitat, restoring riparian zones and capturing carbon.

In partnership with the University of Wollongong and with support from Arts NSW and the Australia Council, Bundanon has hosted residencies, produced projects, forums, a laboratory and is now commissioning 4 new artworks.

Siteworks Associates

The Siteworks Associates are a group of experts from different disciplines who have been/are involved in the ongoing Siteworks conversation.

Their accrued knowledge of the site and continued research is shared among the group and with members of the public.  The 2012 Siteworks Conversation will include presentations by a number of Associates working at Bundanon throughout the year.
