Jennifer Mills

Jennifer is currently working on her third novel, Welcome to Clapstone. After her 2009 debut The Diamond Anchor and the 2011 literary thriller Gone, both of which were deeply concerned with issues of memory and justice, Welcome to Clapstone will turn to the near future, looking at the consequences of bad investment and short-term thinking on one fictional town. This book will look at the mistakes people make in the name of self-interest and development, and the ways that our need for security and comfort can be used to power systems of greed, privilege and ultimately self-destruction.
