Daniel will be playing with lego, wooden blocks, and, glue and nails, to construct the basis of a series of video work projections which will draw information both visual, textual, and audible collected from various individuals in locations of socio economic diversity. This material will be an element of a large scale 'Space Station' allocated as the housing commission 'space'. This work will reflect and comment on the stereotype of the communities within these locations and depict the 'space' they inhabit through scultpture, illustration, projection and interactive installation. A work in progress, this project has been developing for a number of years.
Specifically within Bundanon, Daniel will return to a work based on the catalogued diaries of Arthur Boyd and his documented comments on the art world. This work is a collection of 'Traps' designed to capture and arrest the attention of the viewer or participant via traps made of found objects related to Art and the communities it inspires.
