atyp Fresh Ink

The Fresh Ink National Emerging Writers Studio will bring a group of emerging writers from across Australia together for a seven day live-in residency in December 2010. atyp will collaborate with the network of youth theatre companies who run young writers’ programs and bringing 10 emerging writers together with 5 Fresh Ink mentored writers for a week-long orgy of ideas, master-classes and collaborative writing. The National Studio will offer an extensive opportunity for each writer to examine their own craft and practice and to contextualise their own work by examining trends in Australian and international theatre writing. The group will be lead by top theatre professionals. The National Studio is made possible through funding support by The Copyright Agency Limited.
