Bundanon

A national cultural institution in regional Australia

Bundanon was established on philanthropy when artist Arthur Boyd and his wife Yvonne gifted the Bundanon property and their collection to the Australian people in 1993.

We want to make sure that the thousands of school children and hundreds of artists who stay on Bundanon’s properties every year can keep coming – regardless of their financial circumstances. All of our programs rely on the generous support of our individual donors.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.

This website contains names, images and voices of deceased Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
